What is STAA? The Specialty Travel Agents Association (STAA) is a premier association and a valuable resource for travel professionals involved in specialty travel. STAA works to develop and promote agent members who have specialized in a destination or niche market.
STAA provides resources and opportunities to build, grow, and promote your specialty business. We are committed to creating consumer awareness and interest in specialty travel, but also in helping consumers discover the benefits of using travel specialists and then helping them connect with you. Many consumers are not aware of these agents and the level of service that they provide or where to find them. STAA provides a "Specialty Agent Search and Travel Planner", so consumers have an easy way to connect with these professional agents, but we also meet with thoursands of consumers every year at tradeshows to promote our agents.

How is STAA different?
STAA advocates specialty travel, its agents, destinations, and niche markets. STAA helps to promote and market member agents to consumers, while also assisting them with tools to develop and expanding their specialty business. It is important that specialty travel agents get the exposure they need in the marketplace. STAA's website and comprehensive specialty travel agent search and travel planner has been designed to help expand our members' business. Consumers can view agent profiles and then directly contact agents based on their needs. No lead referal fees!
