About Specialty Travel Agents Association
The Specialty Travel Agents Association (STAA) is an association formed in 2007 by an alliance of travel and marketing professionals. STAA was formed to meet the need for an association to promote and further develop professional agents who have specialized in specific niche markets and destinations. To be a unique connection between member agents and consumers who are looking for these travel specialists.
Our comprehensive specialty travel agent search engine is meant to be a collaborative industry effort, so consumers have an efficient way of finding specialty agents and their services in one easy to use location. In many cases consumers do not know these agents even exist.
STAA is an advocate for specialty travel, its agents, destinations and markets. We want to enhance agents professional image through specialization and to aid in their success.
Mission
The Specialty Travel Agents Association is dedicated to providing the ongoing development and promotion of agents who sell travel for specific destinations or niche markets. To create consumer awareness of these agents, their expertise and the destinations and niche markets that they represent and sell. STAA will provide consumers with the ability to find and access professional member agents who have obtained additional knowledge and expertise in a specific area of travel. We are committed to providing a network of resources and support for agents to build and expand their business as travel specialists.
