About Specialty Travel Agents Association
The Specialty Travel Agents Association (STAA) is an association formed in 2007 by an alliance of travel and marketing professionals. STAA was formed to meet the need for an association to promote and further develop professional travel agents that specialize in specific destinations and niche markets. By putting all specialty agent members, industry and CVB's under the umbrella of STAA's efforts, the goal of connecting travelers with the right specialist is accomplished and the rewards are shared by industry, agents and travelers alike.

The member portion of the site assists members in further developing and marketing their specialty business. STAA takes a hand on approach to provide members with opportunities, connections, resources and tools that focus on specialization, but also allowing specialists to be part of a group that is dedicated to providing travelers with exceptional products and services that exemplify specialization.

Mission
The Specialty Travel Agents Association is dedicated to providing the ongoing development and promotion of agents who sell travel for specific destinations or niche markets. To create consumer awareness of these agents, their expertise and the destinations and niche markets that they represent and sell. STAA will provide consumers with the ability to find and access professional member agents who have obtained additional knowledge and expertise in a specific area of travel. We are committed to providing a network of resources and support for agents to build and expand their business as travel specialists.
